Janine Werthmann, geboren 1981 in Dinslaken, ist seit 2006 freischaffende Kostümbildnerin für Schauspiel, Oper und Ballett u. a. am Nationaltheater Mannheim, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Stadttheater Bremerhaven, Theater Heidelberg, Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe und Deutsche Oper Berlin.
Sie arbeitet mit Regisseuren wie Burkhard C. Kosminski, Daniel Pfluger, Michael Simon, Cilli Drexel, Tim Egloff, Egill Pálsson, Simon Solberg u. a. Zuletzt entwarf sie die Kostüme für die deutsche Erstaufführung von DER ANDERE ORT unter der Regie von Burkhard C. Kosminski, für die Produktion M & THE ACID MONKS in der Kaserne Basel, sowie für die Kinderoper DINO UND DIE ARCHE und die Schauspielproduktion ALICE in der Regie von Daniel Pfluger.Productions
