Céline Rudolph and the musicians of the BigBand under the direction of Peter Weniger dedicate themselves to the music of Latin America: an early summer evening full of tango, bossa nova and samba. Dr Dietmar Takt contributes interesting facts about this music.


Held in the Tischlerei performance space at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Over the six days of the festival the BigBand of the Deutsche Oper Berlin presents six somewhat different jazz concerts interspersed with readings, dance, film and drama.
