The Generations Chorus and soloists from the Young Chorus will sing workers' songs, protest songs and anthems by Ethel Smyth, Hanns Eisler and Fanny van Dannen, among others.
The programme spans several centuries of protest history, from an English ballad from the 17th century, the Weavers‘ Song, the Suffragettes’ March to contemporary songs.
