Zoya Tsererina

Die russische Sopranistin Zoya Tsererina stammt aus einer Moskauer Musikerfamilie. Vor ihrem Operndiplom am Konservatorium von Nishnij Nowgorod studierte sie zunächst Klavier. Bei Mirella Freni, Elena Obraztsova, Renata Scotto, Vladimir Atlantov und Ileana Cotrubas setzte sie ihre Studien fort.

Zoya Tsererina begann ihre Laufbahn als Mezzosopranistin an der Oper in Sankt Peterburg, wo sie u. a. als Polina in Tschaikowskis PIQUE DAME und Olga / EUGEN ONEGIN zu erleben war. Mit der Russischen Nationalphilharmonie trat sie als Konchakovna in Alexander Borodins FÜRST IGOR auf und sang Santuzza in Pietro Mascagnis CAVALLERIA RUSTICANA. 2007 wurde sie Solistin der Staatsoper Tatarstan, wo sie ihr Repertoire sowohl um Sopran- als auch um Mezzosopran-Partien erweiterte, darunter Turandot, Tosca, Carmen, Abigaille und Fenena / NABUCCO sowie Marina Mnishek in BORIS GODUNOW. Mit den Tatarstan-Produktionen IL TROVATORE und NABUCCO nahm sie an einer Gastspielreise in die Niederlande teil und kehrte im Herbst 2018 erneut als Tosca für ein Gastspiel dorthin zurück. In der Spielzeit 2017/18 gehört sie zum Opernensemble des Theaters Bonn, wo sie die Titelpartien in TURANDOT und LA GIOCONDA interpretierte. Weiterhin führte sie ein Gastspiel Lyubasha in Rimski-Korsakows DIE ZARENBRAUT nach Valladolid. Darüber hinaus gastierte sie in jüngster Zeit beim Yekaterinburg State Academical Opera and Ballet Theatre, der Tatar und Astrakhan State Opera sowie den Opern in Kasan und Wladiwostok. Im Juni 2019 gab sie als fremde Fürstin ihr Debüt beim Glyndebourne Festival in Dvoráks RUSALKA unter der Leitung von Robin Ticciati.

Zu den Dirigenten, mit denen Zoya Tsererina darüber hinaus gearbeitet hat, gehören Marco Boemi, Paul Esswood, Stefano Romani, Anton Lubchenko, Gintaras Rinkevicvius, Milos Krejci, Vasily Valitov und Oliver von Dohnanyi.

Members of the Deutsche Oper Berlin ensembles look forward to shortening the days until Christmas Eve with personalised musical programmes in which you will hear Christmas classics as well as absolute rarities, perhaps never heard before. Just come by and experience our artists up close.
