Marco Ciaponi zählt zu den vielversprechendsten jungen Sängern der internationalen Opernwelt. Der Gewinner des „Operalia“-Wettbewerbs sang u. a. Nemorino / L’ELISIR D’AMORE in Tbilisi, Lucca, Piacenza, Ravenna, Mantua und Bari sowie Alfredo / LA TRAVIATA in Bologna, Cremona, Mailand und während einer Japantournee. Weitere seiner Partien sind Don Ottavio / DON GIOVANNI, Arturo / LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR, Trin / LA FANCIULLA DEL WEST, Fenton / FALSTAFF, Malcolm / MACBETH, Arone / MOSE IN EGITTO, Rinuccio / GIANNI SCHICCHI und Herzog von Mantua / RIGOLETTO. Auf dem Konzertpodium war er in Beethovens Symphonie Nr. 9 in Mailand, in Rossinis Stabat Mater in Ravenna, Warschau und Tokyo sowie in Petite messe solenelle in Ravenna zu erleben. Zukünftige Pläne umfassen u. a. Herzog von Mantua in Toulon und Ferrando / COSI FAN TUTTE in St. Etienne.
