Die irische Mezzosopranistin Jennifer Hughes studierte am DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama in Dublin. Zwischen 2011 und 2017 war sie Mitglied im Glyndebourne Chorus, wo sie u. a. in Brett Deans Uraufführung von HAMLET auf der Bühne stand, als Lehrbub auch in David McVicars DIE MEISTERSINGER VON NÜRNBERG. Weitere Engagements führten sie zum Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival und im Chor sowie als Cover der Zia in MADAMA BUTTERFLY an die Royal Albert Hall.
