Misha Cvijovic

Misha Cvijovic ist Komponistin und Pianistin und schreibt zeitgenössische Kammermusik, Vokalmusik, elektroakustische Musik, Oper/Musiktheater, Bühnen- und Filmmusik, zeitgenössischen Tanz, Musik für großes Orchester sowie große und kleine Kammerensembles, Vintage-Synthesizer und Elektronik, außerdem Kompositionen für Soloinstrumente. Misha Cvijovics Kompositionen wurden auf zahlreichen Festivals aufgeführt, darunter Donaueschinger Musik Tage, MaerzMusik (RadialSystemV, Berliner Festspiele), 11. Impuls Graz-International Composers and Ensembles Festival für zeitgenössische Musik (Call for Scores), Klangwerkstatt Festival für Neue Musik in Berlin, die Tischlerei der Deutschen Oper Berlin, Wettbewerb für Kompositionen zeitgenössischer Komponisten des Serbischen Radiosinfonieorchesters, 40. Saarbrücker Filmfestival Max-Ophüls Preis, Filmfestival Sophie-Opel-Preis in München, Achtung Berlin Kurzfilmfestival 2019, Cannes Film Festival, Berliner Musikvideo-Preis, Mess Sarajevo Theater Festival, 29. Belgrader Jazzfestival u. a.

Während ihrer Oper/Theaterlaufbahn arbeitete sie als Komponistin, Pianistin, Arrangeurin und als musikalische Leiterin. Sie arbeitete mit Regisseuren wie Alienor Dauches (Donaueschinger Musiktage), Johannes Müller (Sophiaesaele Berlin, Theater Rampe Stuttgart, Theater Brut Wien), Ulrike Schwab (Neuköllner Oper), Fabian Gerhardt (Theater am Kürfüstendamm), Iva Milosevic (Theater Atelje 212), Milos Lolic (Jugoslawisches Dramatheater), Jovana Tomic (Jugoslawisches Dramatheater), Nebojsa Bradic (Opera & Theatre Madlenianum) etc.

Misha Cvijovic hat an der Klavierabteilung (Bachelor- und Masterstudium) der Kunstakademie in Novi Sad in der Klasse von Vladimir Ograkov sowie Bachelor- und Masterstudium an der Kompositionsabteilung der Fakultät für Musikkunst in der Klasse von Vlastimir Trajkovica absolviert. Außerdem absolvierte sie ein Kompositionsstudium an der renommierten Hanns Eisler Musikhochschule in Berlin in der Klasse von Eun Hwa Cho.

Members of the Deutsche Oper Berlin ensembles look forward to shortening the days until Christmas Eve with personalised musical programmes in which you will hear Christmas classics as well as absolute rarities, perhaps never heard before.
