Welcome to our adventure tour through the marvellous world of Finnish lakes. The capital Helsinki is beautifully situated on a peninsula in the Baltic Sea. The centre is characterised by colourful classical and art nouveau facades. The centre is also home to contemporary functionalist and modernist architecture. Experience the world of the archipelago islands on a dinner cruise off the coast of Helsinki. Finnish history tells of Swedish kings, Russian tsars, Orthodox monks and brave freedom fighters. In Savonlinna, the curtain rises on an atmospheric opera experience in the romantic Olavinlinna Water Castle. The historic steamboat takes you on a round trip through the blue labyrinth of the famous Saimaa lake district. You will see the imperial fishing lodge on the rapids in Kotka, visit the Museum of Mechanical Music and the manor house of the country priests in Mikkeli. The Nordic cuisine will spoil you with specialities of salmon, reindeer, wild mushrooms and aromatic berries.
