Sometimes opulent, sometimes filigree, colourfully feathered or with a graphic touch - the costumes of the Deutsche Oper Berlin are as diverse as its productions. But even Berlin's largest opera house needs space for the costumes of the upcoming premieres. Uniforms, tailcoats, dresses, ballet costumes and hats are looking for a new home beyond the big stage.
