Luca Salsi

Luca Salsi, geboren in Parma, studierte in seiner Heimatstadt am Conservatorio Arrigo Boito bei Lucetta Bizzi und an der Accademia Rossiniana bei Alberto Zedda. Er gab sein Bühnendebüt 1996 in LA SCALA DI SETA in Bologna, worauf zahlreiche weitere Engagements folgten. 2000 gewann er den Ersten Preis beim Viotti International Song Competition. Im selben Jahr reüssierte er als Leporello beim Bassano Festival, als Guglielmo in Cagliari sowie in Bologna als Antonio in Rossinis IL VIAGGIO A REIMS. Es folgten IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA in Neapel und in Washington LE NOZZE DI FIGARO.

Er gastierte u. a. an der Metropolitan Opera New York, an der Scala di Milano, in Los Angeles, Tel Aviv, Buenos Aires, an der Berliner Staatsoper, in Cagliari, Genua, Neapel, Triest, am Teatro Filarmonico di Verona, Teatro Massimo di Palermo, in Bilbao und Barcelona sowie beim Festival Puccini di Torre del Lago, wo er u. a. Sharpless in MADAMA BUTTERFLY, Marcello in LA BOHEME, Ford in FALSTAFF, Figaro in DER BARBIER VON SEVILLA, Valentin in FAUST, die Titelpartien in GIANNI SCHICCHI und RIGOLETTO, Don Carlo in DIE MACHT DES SCHICKSALS, Germont in LA TRAVIATA, Ezio in ATILLA, Frank in EDGAR, Renato in EIN MASKENBALL interpretierte. Zu seinen künftigen Engagements zählen Conte die Luna in IL TROVATORE in Bologna und Germont in LA TRAVIATA in Montecarlo.

Bedeutende Dirigenten begleiten seinen Weg, darunter Mark Elder, Gabriele Ferro, Daniele Gatti, Placido Domingo, Gustavo Dudamel, Julia Jones, Pier Giorgio Morandi, Renato Palumbo, Emmanuel Villaume und Alberto Zedda.

Members of the Deutsche Oper Berlin ensembles look forward to shortening the days until Christmas Eve with personalised musical programmes in which you will hear Christmas classics as well as absolute rarities, perhaps never heard before. Just come by and experience our artists up close.
