About the performance

Chamber music is of great importance to the Orchestra Academy. That is why the academy members are integrated into the chamber music series with their own concert every season. Experience the young musicians in the spotlight and hear works by Giovanni Bottesini [1821 - 1889], Franz Schubert [1797 - 1828], Steven Verhelst [*1981] and Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky [1840 - 1893], among others.

With their chamber music series, the musicians of the Deutsche Oper Berlin Orchestra fulfil a wish: inspired by productions from the opera programme, they put together concert programmes with works that are close to their hearts. The concerts take place in the stage sets of the respective current Tischlerei production.
