On 13 September 2025, our 2025/26 season will begin, for which our current opera director Christoph Seuferle will be responsible as acting artistic director. To give you a taste of our repertoire highlights and our seven new productions on the day of the publication of our annual programme, 19 May 2025, we warmly invite you to this musical presentation of our programme. What's coming?
... This is coming: Experience scenic and musical excerpts from works such as Umberto Giordano's ANDREA CHENIER, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's LE NOZZE DI FIGARO, Gioacchino Rossini's IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA and Johann Strauss' DIE FLEDERMAUS. Of course, we will also be presenting excerpts from the seven new productions of the 2025/26 season, but these will remain a surprise until 19 May 2025. Jonathan Tetelman, Doris Soffel, Federica Lombardi, Elena Tsallagova, Alex Esposito, Maria Motolygina, Kieran Carrel as well as ensemble soloists and the chorus of the Deutsche Oper Berlin will perform under the baton of our General Music Director, Sir Donald Runnicles.
